The Day of Your Facelift

Dr. Elie performs Facelift Surgery through an incision from the hair line above and in front of the ear to create a more aesthetic appearance and rejuvenate to facial structure. The underlying muscle and fascia can be tightened. The wound is then closed with sutures and skin staples.

The surgery is performed in an outpatient setting. The surgery may take 3 to 4 hours, patients can choose between local and general anesthesia but generally Dr. Elie prefers general anesthesia. Most patients who have undergone facelift are between 40 and 60 years old.

Recovery Time in Beirut

Please follow carefully Dr. Elie‘s postoperative guideline. Pain and discomfort are normal after surgery. You will be given pain killer and antibiotics to reduce discomfort and avoid complications. Dr. Elie will schedule a postoperative appointment a week later to remove the stitches. You are highly recommended to keep contact with your coordinator if you have any questions about your surgery.

Am I a Candidate for Facelift?

After consultation, Dr. Elie will advise a patient if he or she is a good candidate. However, if you have some of the following signs you may consider a facelift:
